Teaching modules, developed through previous Reconnect Workshops, are now available for use. Faculty from Community Colleges and Minority Serving Institutions are encouraged to utilize these resources in the classroom to enhance access to STEM Education nationwide.

Reconnect Workshop 2024: AI for Security and Security for AI: A Two-way ExplorationThis workshop focused on Risk Assessment, an overall process of identifying, analyzing, and preparing for potential risks (e.g., natural or man-made disasters), which is extremely important to ensure the continuity of organization operations and the well-being of the people involved.
Reconnect Workshop 2023: Risk AssessmentThis workshop focused on Optimization. The broad field of “optimization” emerged to provide the language and tools to surmount complex problems in real applications, and optimization tools and algorithms have since transformed fields ranging from biology to finance.
Reconnect 2022: Optimization
The Reconnect 2025 Workshop will be held June 23 - 26, 2025 in Mystic Connecticut. This year's topic is Port Security. Over the course of 3 days, participants will be involved in activities that they and their students can continue to use and explore after the workshop. They will begin to draft modules that can be used in their classrooms and others around the country. The program will include a tour of the Coast Guard Academy on June 23, followed by dinner hosted by the Academy.
