ADSA27 will occur on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 9:00am to 6:00pm ET and Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 8:00am to 4:00pm ET both in-person in Boston and with an option to participate virtually.

ADSA27 will address the topic of “Implementation and Deployment of Situational Awareness Strategies for Protecting Soft Targets”. The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the development and deployment of technologies, software and communications to prevent or minimize the impact of attacks on soft targets.
Specific topics that will be covered include:
The ADSA workshops are convened by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Center of Excellence (COE) for Soft target Engineering to Neutralize the Threat Reality (SENTRY) at Northeastern University. SENTRY addresses protecting soft targets and crowded spaces. The ADSA workshops are also convened by the emeritus DHS COE for Awareness and Localization of Explosives-Related Threats (ALERT).

There will be a $100 registration fee to defray the costs of hosting the in-person event and supporting the virtual event. The registration fee only for those people in industry who are not members of Northeastern’s Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) and are not presenting.
